Afar Wood-Burning Stove – Part of Ferlux’s Wood-Burning Range
The Afar Central Leg stove is part of Ferlux’s wood-burning range, standing out for its balanced combination of energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and versatile design. This allows it to adapt easily to different interior styles, whether classic or contemporary.
Moreover, this range offers a wide variety of power outputs, dimensions, and aesthetic options, effectively meeting the specific requirements of each space. In particular, the Afar Central Leg model is designed to ensure maximum comfort and well-being, as it incorporates a silent turbine system that promotes uniform and efficient heat distribution.
Key Features of the Afar Central Leg Model
Primary Air
The primary air system is located at the bottom of the stove and allows precise regulation of air intake. This enables the user to easily adjust the flame intensity according to the needs of the room. As a result, the stove reduces wood consumption and improves combustion efficiency.
Secondary Air
The secondary air enters at the top of the combustion chamber as preheated air. This helps maintain continuously clean glass, reduces pollutant emissions, and significantly increases the stove’s overall efficiency.
Clean Glass System
Additionally, an air curtain flows along the inner face of the glass, preventing direct contact between combustion smoke and the surface. Consequently, the user enjoys a clear and prolonged view of the flames. This system also contributes to reduced emissions and lower fuel consumption.
Double Combustion
Double combustion is achieved by injecting preheated air into a specific zone of the combustion chamber, burning gases not consumed in the first phase. This results in higher energy efficiency, reduced wood consumption, and significantly lower emissions, making the stove a more sustainable solution.
Cast Iron Interior
Finally, the combustion chamber is fully lined with cast iron, providing high resistance to extreme temperatures and ensuring excellent heat retention and gradual release. This material prevents deformation, increases the stove’s durability, and maintains thermal performance over time.
