Thermal Comfort, Silence, and Space Integration

The Íkaro 10 kW pellet stove is part of Ferlux’s Ductable range. This range is designed to efficiently and sustainably heat the entire home, making it ideal for centralized heating systems. Additionally, these units distribute heat through ducts, warming multiple rooms simultaneously. They also include automated on/off systems, saving energy while ensuring consistent comfort.

Thanks to the Air Silence system, the user can adjust the amount of hot air leaving the stove, regulating the noise level according to the room where the unit is installed. This ensures a quiet and pleasant environment throughout the house while maintaining thermal comfort.

Combustion Technology and Energy Efficiency

The CONFORLUX system automatically controls combustion. Depending on the flue installation, altitude, and type of pellets used, it automatically adjusts the required air quantity to ensure perfect combustion. Consequently, emissions are kept low and fuel consumption is reduced.

Furthermore, the automatic combustion power selects the most suitable operating level, considering both the room temperature and the user-defined setting. This ensures continuous thermal comfort and optimized energy use.

The combustion chamber is fully lined with vermiculite, a material resistant to high temperatures and prolonged contact with flames. This not only provides an intense view of the flames but also ensures complete combustion. Similarly, the clean glass system uses an air curtain to prevent soot deposition, maintaining a clear view of the fire for longer and further reducing emissions.

Heat Distribution, Safety, and Control

The Ductable system allows hot air to be distributed to other rooms via silent fans. Control is managed electronically through an ambient sensor, allowing the user to set the ideal temperature in each space. This ensures maximum comfort and minimal fuel consumption, regardless of the number of rooms being heated.

The stove includes a cast iron burner that withstands high temperatures without deforming or sustaining damage, ensuring a prolonged lifespan. The manual flue cleaning step also facilitates maintenance of the heat exchange areas, improving efficiency.

In terms of safety, the anti-explosion system combines electronic and mechanical protection, offering complete security. Additionally, the Fire-Stop system automatically shuts down the stove if the temperature exceeds three degrees above the programmed value, restarting when the temperature drops by one degree.

Finally, the timer allows up to three automatic ignitions and three shutdowns per day. The remote control enables operation without approaching the unit. Optionally, the 4 Heat system allows monitoring and control of all functions via smartphone or tablet, providing even greater convenience and heating control.
