The Siris wood-burning insert is part of Ferlux’s range of wood inserts, distinguished by thermal efficiency, robust construction, and versatile application. Key Features of the Siris Model

Primary Air

The primary air system is located at the bottom of the unit and allows precise regulation of air intake. This enables the user to control the intensity of the flame as needed, reducing wood consumption and improving combustion efficiency.

Secondary Air

The secondary air is introduced at the top of the combustion chamber as preheated air. This system enhances glass cleaning, reduces pollutant emissions, and increases the overall efficiency of the unit.

Clean Glass System

A curtain of air on the inner surface of the glass creates an effective barrier against combustion fumes. This ensures a clear and continuous view of the flames for longer periods while contributing to more efficient combustion, reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Double Combustion

The double combustion system operates through the injection of preheated air at a specific height within the combustion chamber. This allows unburned gases from the initial phase to be reused, ensuring higher energy performance, lower wood consumption, and significantly reduced emissions.

Draft Regulator

The draft regulator allows precise control of air intake, ensuring stable, efficient combustion tailored to heating needs.

Cast Iron Interior

The combustion chamber is made of cast iron, providing high resistance to elevated temperatures. This allows the insert to retain heat longer, prevents deformation, and ensures durability and thermal performance over time.

Turbine

In addition to natural convection, the Siris can integrate booster turbines to enhance hot air circulation. This solution is particularly effective when ducting is needed, significantly improving thermal comfort in adjacent rooms.

Hot Air Ducting

The ducting system allows hot air to be distributed to other rooms through ducts and very quiet turbines. This ensures more uniform heating, higher energy efficiency, and reduced fuel consumption.
